Domestic Violence Awareness

Victims of domestic violence are often heard saying, “If I cold just get out of this,” “I don’t know how I got here,” “Something must be wrong with me.” The blame often falls on the one who is helpless and hopeless, not the aggressor. The foundation of domestic violence is often the lack of self esteem. Where does one learn self esteem if it’s not taught at home? I AM MY LIFE COACH teaches explicit, focused lessons to women, men, and children of domestic violence on how to develop self esteem and believe in one’s self. In order to learn, victims of domestic violence must first unlearn the negative patterns. Through individual and group coaching, I AM MY LIFE COACH transformational coaches work with victims to produce positive daily self affirmations, short powerful phrases they can tell themselves daily. The fastest way out of domestic violence is into self. Through learning the value of self, I AM MY LIFE COACH, guides victims to self reflect and shift positions from victims to victors. I AM MY LIFE COACH workbooks teach specific strategies and help set goals for self improvement, self empowerment, self motivation, and self affirmation. Partnering with I AM MY LIFE COACH allows victims to call time out on the old patterns of abuse and take action to step into the new season of self.
